OUR PATHWAY

The NXG Yellow Ball Pathway

Build the Game. Build the Body. Build the Player.

We don’t rush athletes.
We don’t skip steps.

We build the foundation that makes growth sustainable.

The Yellow Ball stage is where habits are formed, movement patterns are built, and players learn how to play the game — not just hit balls.

Level-Based. Development-Driven.

NXG works with Junior Players typically ages 9–18, but we do not group players by age.
Instead, we place athletes by level and readiness, because development doesn’t happen on a birthday.

Development I – Yellow Ball Beginner

Focused on building confidence in rallies, improving movement speed, and introducing basic tactics while reinforcing strong technical fundamentals.

Development II – Intermediate

Designed for players seeking varsity teams, with increased emphasis on tactics, competitive habits, and continued technical and physical development.

Development III – Advanced

For competitive players preparing for tournament play, emphasizing mental toughness, advanced tactics, and match readiness.

College Prep

High-performance training for players pursuing college scholarships, focusing on advanced tactics, mental resilience, and elite-level competition.

Placement is determined through coach evaluation, not assumptions.

If you’re unfamiliar with UTR, don’t worry — our coaches handle placement through simple on-court evaluation.

This approach allows younger advanced players to be challenged, older developing players to build properly, and every athlete to progress without gaps or shortcuts.

Right level. Right environment. Real development.

How The NXG Environment Works

Each phase of our Pathway has a distinct training environment:
The Great Base: Structured, supportive, confidence-building
Development: Competitive, intentional, decision-driven
Elite: High-intensity, fast-paced, match-relevant

As players progress, the environment evolves — because the environment must match the athlete.

Our Development Methodology: The 6 Pillars

Every athlete is developed through six interconnected pillars:

Technical • Tactical • Cognitive • Mental • Biomechanics • Fitness

We use these pillars to understand:
Where a player is
Why they’re there
What needs immediate development

This ensures progress is intentional, personalized, and sustainable
